With Yan Diomande confirmed to be signing for Real Madrid, Bradley Barcola looks to be the clear first choice right wing target for Liverpool and Andoni Iraola. Forget the fact that he is predominantly a left winger at PSG and for France, this is the biggest name star currently available on the market and it bodes well that Liverpool have been scouting him and showing we have wanted him since early 2024 with the connections and network established and Barcola coming out and saying he has given Liverpool Priority as long as Liverpool can agree a fee with PSG.

Ben Jacobs is quoting 170 million euros whereas earlier in the day, Fabrizio Romano was saying 140 million. A compromise is likely to be reached for Liverpool's top target.

Barcola was also on the radar of Arsenal and with them missing out on Morgan Rogers, it means to be seen whether they full go all in for Vinicius Jr or whether they come back to the table for Barcola.

Rayan is still of course an interesting option and available and at 19 years old and the right wing starter for Brazil and Premier League proven, he is of course going to be an interesting option having played for Iraola already and shone.

Bradley Barcola though is a 23 year old full French international who finished 4th in the world cup and has won 2 Champions Leagues and multiple league titles with PSG and is probably more ready for the here and now to make the next step to be an outright superstar.

Liverpool showed that with Salah and Mane, if you reach your potential, you will win things with Liverpool and get into the Balon D'or discussion.

The fate of Barcola being available made be resting on PSG agreeing a fee and completing the deal for Akliouche. Liverpool showed their interest this week and whilst he would be a good wide playmaker on the right, it is likely to accelerate PSG into closing the deal, having lost out of Diomande.

If all goes wrong, then Minteh at Brighton represents a sensible option for his work rate, room to grow and Premier League experience, although a somewhat uninspiring choice attacking wise with his current metrics, he offers work rate, enthusiasm, energy and the hunger to contribute and assist and defend the right flank. Definitely a useful addition.

For now though, all eyes on Barcola.
